Golden yellow daisy-like flowers rise 12” above the low-growing rosettes of bright green foliage early in its second year of growth. As a native to the alpine meadows of Europe, the petals have been used for centuries as a topical herbal medicine usually in the form of salves and tinctures for muscle aches, inflammations, and bruises but is not to be used on open wounds. Germination Temperature: Optimum soil temperatures 60-70ºF

Seed Planting Depth:  Sow on the surface and lightly cover the seed.

Starting Indoors:  Start indoors 6-8 weeks before the last frost. Provide 60-70ºF soil temperatures. Transplant after the last frost, 8-12" apart. 

Sowing Outdoors: Around the last frost when the soil temperature reaches 60-70ºF.
